Childcare Butler

At Tribe Butler, we provide long day care and early learning for children from 6 weeks to 5 years.

Long Day Care That Supports Early Learning

Tribe Early Learning Butler supports families living and working in Butler and nearby suburbs in Perth’s northern corridor. Butler is a family-focused community with modern housing, local schools, parks, and strong transport connections, making it a popular choice for families with young children. Our centre provides long day care and early learning for children from 6 weeks to 5 years, guided by our inquiry-based approach across our baby, toddler, and preschool rooms.

We are part of the local Butler community and value helping children feel connected to the world around them. Through regular excursions and incursions with local businesses, services, and community spaces, children build familiarity with their surroundings and confidence in everyday environments.

Inquiry-Based Learning at Tribe Butler

At Tribe Butler, learning is guided by children’s ideas, questions, and interests through our inquiry-based approach. Educators observe closely, listen carefully, and use everyday moments to shape learning experiences that feel meaningful and relevant, rather than following a fixed program.

Children explore through play, conversation, problem-solving, and experimentation. Educators support this by asking thoughtful questions and extending learning in ways that feel natural and engaging for each child, helping them build confidence and a strong sense of capability.

Meet Our Centre Manager Sharon

Hi, I’m Sharon, and I’m the Centre Manager here at Tribe Early Learning in Butler.
Originally from Leeds, England, I’ve called Perth home for the past 21 years, where I live with my husband, James, and our two sons, Liam and Matthew.

Having worked in long daycare for nine years, including five years dedicated to our youngest learners in the baby room, I deeply understand the significant decision parents make when choosing care. My passion has always been to build genuine connections with both children and their families, earning their trust so they feel completely at ease knowing their precious little ones are cherished and well cared for.

For the past four years, I’ve led as Centre Manager, guided by strong values of nurture, love, honesty, and open communication. I believe in creating a supportive environment, not just for the children, but also for my team. I’m committed to building a strong, cohesive team that works with kindness and mutual respect.

Please know my door is always open for a friendly chat or any questions you might have.

Questions Families Ask About Childcare in Butler

What are your opening hours, and will they work around our workday?

Tribe Early Learning Butler is open from 6:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday.

These long daycare hours support families with early starts, school drop-offs, and commuting. Our daily routines are structured so children feel settled and secure, whether they arrive right at opening time or later in the morning.

Fees can feel confusing at first. We take the time to explain how the Child Care Subsidy applies to your family and what your out-of-pocket costs may look like, so you can plan with confidence and avoid surprises.

Starting care is a big step. We work closely with families to understand routines, comfort strategies, and what helps each child feel secure. Settling in is gradual and flexible, guided by your child’s pace rather than a set timeframe.
Each day follows a familiar rhythm that includes play, learning, meals, rest, and time outdoors. Educators tailor experiences to age and energy levels, helping children feel comfortable, engaged, and supported throughout the day.
Families stay connected through regular updates shared via the Storypark app, including meals, rest, learning moments, and general wellbeing. This is supported by face-to-face conversations at drop-off and pick-up, so families feel informed and involved in their child’s day, not just updated.
